The Annual Daytime Emmy Nominations once again is here to celebrate triumph of the previous year’s tv shows and their performances.One of the most expected awards , the nominations have been released!
The awards (37th) will be produced by ATI. The ceremony will be held in the LV Hilton in Las Vegas , Sunday 27th June.
This years nominations were surprising . The soap "General Hospital " scored in 18 norms! . In the talk show categories "The Ellen DeGeneres " got 8 nominations , including Outstanding Talk Show but surprisingly , not Outstanding Talk Show Host.
The other surprise was that host Ben Bailey and his show Cash Cab on Discovery have won the Daytime Emmy Nominations for Outstanding Game Show and Outstanding Game Show Host.
Ben Bailey is receiving his 4th consecutive Daytime Emmy Nomination for Outstanding Game Show Host.On April 16th it was announced that the Emmy award winning series was given a green light for an all new season, according to Discovery Channel.
