Matt Lauer has separated from his wife for alleged infidelity.
The National Enquirer reports that Lauer, the longtime co-host of NBC's "Today" Show, has left his wife, Annette Roque, after twelve years of a sometimes volatile and rumor filled marriage.
Rumors have flown that Lauer was having an affair with "Today" Show co-host Meredith Viera but the National Enquirer says he has an affair with a 26 year old married woman. The article claims that Lauer is now living in his own apartment in New York.
“I heard he and Annette are breaking up. I was not shocked to hear that. But it’s very sad,” Lauer’s ex-wife Nancy Alspaugh tells the magazine. But it also has to be kpt in mind that the National Enquirer is a tabloid previously known for their fake scoops. But recently some of their huge stories have turned to be true like Sarah Palin's daughter Bristol , being pregnant.
However Matt Lauer's and Annette Roque's split seems to be true , but official confirmation awaits.
